Waziristan: Drone attacks kill 13 including Taliban commander Mullah Nazir

MIRANSHAH: Thirteen militants including Taliban commander Mullah Nazir were killed in a drone attack within Bairmal area of South Waziristan late on Wednesday. Three others were reported dead in an another drone strike within the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan early morning on Thursday.

According to officials reports, the US drone attack targeted a house within the border area village of Sarkanda (Angor Ada area) by firing 4 missiles at it. The attack resulted in the death of 10 individuals.

Taliban commander Mullah Nazir and his top aide commander Rafay Khan were reported to be dead amongst the ten militants.

Following the death reports, the Wana market was closed down.

Meanwhile, three others were reported dead in a US drone attack within the Mubarak Shai village of Mir Ali. According to reports, a car was targeted by firing 4 missiles and the attack resulted in the death of 3 militants.
