SC forms separate bench to hear Faisal’s death case


ISLAMABAD: Taking notice of the death of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officer Kamaran Faisal Supreme Court here on Wednesday formulated a two-member bench to investigate into the case, reported Aaj news.

During the hearing of Rental power plants’ case the court took notice into the suspicious death of NAb officer therefore changed note of his death into plea and ordered a separate hearing, the hearing will begin tomorrow.

The Supreme Court constituted a two-member bench which will be headed by Justice Jawad S Khwaja.

The chief justice moreover remarked that Faisal’s demise was an extremely sad incident, adding that after his death no one could be considered safe in the country.

The protest over the death of NAB investigation officers was continued for the third day as the investigations is yet to began into the incident.
