The Twilight pair including Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been crowned Forbes’ highest grossing romantic couple of the last three years, with the franchise pulling in an impressive $3.3 billion since hitting screens.
The Hollywood hot stars, famous for playing Edward Cullen and Bella Swan in Stephenie Meyer’s record breaking vampire adaptation, beat off stiff competition from a host of on-screen couples to clinch the title.
It’s thought together, they are worth more than $100 million.
Figures were compiled by looking at the top grossing romantic films across the states, adding the totals for each couple’s box office.
Following Rob and Kristen on the list were Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum, who had audiences sobbing during 2012 romantic hit The Vow, while Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth and Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling also featured.
