Rawalpindi: DSP’s son commits suicide


RAWALPINDI, Jan 18 (APP): Sher Dil, son of Deputy Superintendent of Punjab Police Malik Arshad, committed suicide after being infuriated by his mother’s rebuke on some issue late Thursday night.

Station House Officer (SHO) of Airport Police Station Malik Rafaqat told APP that Sher Dil (18) shot in his head with a pistol that caused his death on the spot.

The SHO said body of Sher Dil, a student of third year, has been shifted to the hospital for postmortem. He said the boy was son of DSP Choa Saidanshah Malik Arshad, whose family is residing in the Gulzar-e-Quaid colony.
