Nawaz vows to defy division of Sindh

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML –N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif said division of Sindh will not be accepted at all, adding local bodies ordinance was introduced to divide Sindh province.

Talking to media after a delegation of the PML-F led by Pir Pagara Pir Sibghatullah called on him at his residence, he said his party seeks an end to the load shedding, poverty and illiteracy in the country.

‘We will further strengthen the alliance,’ he added.

The PML-F delegation offered condolences to Sharif brothers over the demise of their brother Abbas Sharif.

Earlier, Pir Pagara said the PPP-led government pay heed to the people of Sindh by passing Sindh People’s Local Governments Act 2012, adding Pakistan is federation and the PML-F does not want destabilize it.

President Asif Ali Zardari, he added, did not listen to the people of Sindh.

Tehreek Minhaj ul Quran Chief Tahirul Qadri, Nawaz said, went to Islamabad to topple the government and but ended up in standing up them (the government).

Tahirul Qadri has entered an alliance with the PPP, he added stressing the people with the slogans of ‘Save State, Not Politics’.
