Long march to be held at any cost, says Qadri

LAHORE: Minhajul Quran International (MQI) chief  Allama Tahirul Qadri showed his firm stance over the long march due on January 14 (Monday), despite back out of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) here on Friday.

Long march will be held at any cost, said Dr, Qadri during a press conference in Lahore.

With only a couple of days left for Dr Tahirul Qadri’s onslaught on the capital,the political parties have conducted several meeting to tackle the situation during the reform rally(Long march) of the federal capital.

During the press conference he said, ‘My mission is Hussaini mission and i am going to Karbala to fight this Yazeedi (evil) corrupt system until the victory of the nation”.

Qadri applauded the judiciary for dismissing writ petitions against his march and declaring them legal.

He said he will announce his agenda before leaving for long march. “I might be killed tonight so i will give my last testation to my family”.

Criticizing the Punjab government, Qadri held them responsible for promoting and protecting the terrorism in the country.

“Ministers are protecting terrorism, they have no right to govern if they can not protect long march” he said.

He urged political parties desiring change to support him for the sake of nation.

Qadri also said that electoral reforms have become necessary to ensure such “corrupt and shameless leaders” don’t come to power again.
