QUETTA: Political and religious parties on Sunday held rallies across Balochistan demanding to end the governor’s rule in the province.
Leaders of both Jamiat Uelma-e-Islam (JUI-F) and Balochistan National Party (Awami) condemned Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and its leadership for imposing governor’s rule. The mob was blaming those ‘officials in uniform’ of their involvement in a conspiracy against the provincial government.
The crowd expressed disapproval of the deadly blasts at Alamdar Road. At the same time, they criticised the government for using terrorist attacks as a an alleged reason to rob the mandate of the common people. They deemed governor’s rule as “unconstitutional and unjust”
