Chief of Jamait-e Ulma Islam (JUI-F), Maulana Fazlur Rehman said Sunday that his party will support that Caretaker government’s setup which enjoys confidence of all religious and political parties.
Talking to reporters after attending the condolence reference organized by Jumaat-e-Islamai in honour of its former Central Ameer late Qazi Hussain Ahmed here at Nishtarhall, the JUI-F Chief suggested to the Government to form national and broad based consensus and take all the stakeholders on board for formation of Caretaker government.
He said that his party will also support such Interim government which formed on the basis of national consensus.
He said his party wanted revival of religious-political alliance, Mutahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA).
Fazal said he had reservations over imposition of governor rule in Balochistan.
He said governor Rule was also opposed in Punjab in the past.
However, he said, his party did not favour imposition of governor rule in Khyber Pakthukhwa despite the difficult law and order situation here.
