Complete shutdown in occupied Kashmir on Indian Republic Day


ISLAMABAD: Complete shutdown observed in occupied Kashmir on Saturday to mark the Indian Republic Day as Black Day.
Call for which has been given by the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, the veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani, the JKLF Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, and the High Court Bar Association of the occupied territory to remind the international community that India’s claim of being a democratic republic is hollow as it has denied the Kashmiris their right to self-determination for the past over sixty-five years, Media reports said.
All shops and business establishments are closed while traffic is off the road.
The occupation authorities have deployed Indian troops and police personnel in strength in Srinagar and other towns of the occupied territory to prevent people from holding anti-India demonstrations.
