Senior KPK politicians including Gohar Ayub Khan join PML-N

LAHORE: Former National Assembly speaker Gohar Ayub Khan along with many other politicians belonging to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province have formally announced their inclusion within the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz group here on Thursday.

The politicians who have made the announcement include former federal minister Umar Ayub Khan, former KPK assembly speaker Habib Akhtar Tareen, former KPK minister Akhtar Shah and MPA KPK Raja Faisal Zaman.

All these KPK politicians met PML-N’s leader Mian Nawaz Sharif in Raiwind today to announce their inclusion within the party.

“I, along with my son, have joined PML-N and would ensure that the party succeeds from our constituency,” stated a thrilled Gohar Ayub while talking to media personnel.

He also apprised the media about Nawaz Sharif’s assurance with respect to the issue of Hazara province.
