A toy plane killed a 53-year-old man in a freak accident, police said Monday in the German city of Stuttgart.
A tiny remote-controlled model aircraft collided at full speed with his head on Sunday. He died in hospital the same day.
The model was being piloted by a 45-year-old man on the Gruener Heiner, a hill on the north-west outskirts of the city popular with paraglider flyers and model-plane enthusiasts. Police blamed the accident on strong gusts of wind as stormy weather crossed Germany.
