KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday chaired a high level meeting regarding law and order in the province specially in Karachi.
The meeting was attended by Law Minister Ayaz Somor, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, Sindh Finance Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Secretary Sindh Raja Muhammad Abbas, ACS (Home) Waseem Ahmed, I.G Police Sindh Fayaz Ahmed Leghari, Deputy D.G Rangers Brig Muhammad Rafique Khan, AIG Police Karachi Iqbal Mehmood, Advocate General Sindh Fatha Malik, Prosecutor General Sindh Shahdat Awan, Secretary Law Ghulam Nabi Shah and others.
The Chief Minister reviewing the performance and results during Moharam-ul-Harram/Youm-e-Ashura, congratulated the Police, Rangers and other law enforcing agencies.
He appreciated the prompt measures, coordinated efforts and other vigilance adopted by all forces and agencies, with the results the Ashra-e-Muharam passed peacefully and no untoward incident took place.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah also appreciated efforts of CID Police, who’s efforts achieved detection of subversive explosive material and other criminals.
The meeting discussed various issues, progress, performance and achievements of Home department, police, rangers, law department, prosecution department and LEAs.
Sindh Law Minister, Sindh Information Minister, Sindh Finance Minister, Chief Secretary Sindh, ACS(Home), I.G Police Sindh, Deputy D.G Rangers Sindh, AIG Police Karachi, Prosecutor General Sindh, Advocate General Sindh and others highlighted detailed reports, performance, and various issues were also in the light of situation after passing of 18th Amendment.
