Ephedrine case: Musa Gilani files bail application in SC

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister’s son Ali Musa Gilani filed a transitional bail application within the Supreme Court on Thursday with respect to the Ephedrine case.

Ali Musa Gilani, applied for the bail within the Supreme Court via his lawyer Khalid Ranjha. In his application, Musa Gilani has challenged the statements of all the witnesses including Rasheed Jumma, further stating that his name has not been stated within the FIR and hence he should be granted a bail.

The Lahore High Court had earlier rejected Musa Gilani’s bail application.

Makhdoom Shahbuddin, another PPP member accused of alleged links within the ephedrine case, was granted bail on Wednesday.
