Pakistan to visit Sri Lanka in May

According to reports, Sri Lankan Cricket Board has confirmed Pakistan cricket team’s  tour of the island late in the month of May.

Pakistan will play a series of three Tests, five one-day and two twenty20. The team will arrive in Sri Lanka on May 29, and will play first two T20s on June 1, in Hambantota. One-day series begins from June 7, in Pallekele, where Pakistan will play two matches. The remaining thee matches will be held at Colombo’s Permadasa Stadium.

The series of test matches will start from June 22. Pakistan will be playing its first test in Galle and the second test will take place at the SSC in Colombo from June 30. The team will return to Palleke for the final test, from July 8.

Pakistan last toured the resplendent island (Sri Lanka) in 2009.
