N-League is responsible for severe load shedding in Punjab: Shujat

President Pakistan Muslim League Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and Senior Federal Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi have said that N-League is responsible for the severe load shedding in Punjab.

Shahbaz Sharif sold the interest of Punjab for third term premiership for his brother Nawaz Sharif and their lust for power have thrown Punjab into dark ages.

They expressed these views while chairing a meeting of members of provincial and national assembly from KPK and FATA, district representatives of PML and party workers.

Advisor to Prime Minister Syed Qasim Shah presented a resolution which reposed complete faith in the leadership of Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and acknowledged that his visionary leadership brought successes to the party.

The participants seconded the resolution through a show of hand and resolved to fight every intrigue and treachery to harm the party. The participants through the resolution disassociated themselves from the elements who violated the party discipline.

The meeting was assured that the PML will be reorganized in KPK on democratic lines and party conventions will be held in all the cities of KPK very soon.

Chaudhry Shujat Hussain said that he will visit FATA to address the problem of the region and bring it into the mainstream politics. He said that PML is a coalition partner of the government in center and Sindh and Baluchistan and the party is contemplating to join the KPK government.

Previously, they could not join the KPK government because of the stubbornness of Amir Muqam. Chaudhry Shujat Hussain said that he salutes the political wisdoms of the mother of Amir Muqam who advised him not to leave PML-Q and join PML-N. He said that the hastiness of Amir Muqam proved that he did not deserve the esteemed stature that the PML gave him.

Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, in his address said that the PML is like a grand family where leaders and workers are respected, criticism is accepted with open heart and the valuable suggestions of the workers are incorporated in the party decisions. He was of the view that Amir Muqam fell from grace and time will tell that he took a wrong turn at a critical juncture of his political career.

The deserters will have to repent on their decision one day, he added. Talking to the party workers Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that they should not lay ears to the gossipmongers and keep a firm belief in the political acumen of the party leadership.

PML Secretary General, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed while briefing about the performance of the party said that PML is representative party of the four provinces, GB, FATA and AJK and it emerged as the second largest party in the last general elections in terms of votes polled.

He said that PML took clear and categorical stance on national issues and even compelled its coalition partners to change their stance in the national and public interest. He said that even the judiciary heaped praise on the sincere leadership of Chaudhry Shujat Hussain and acknowledged his efforts to strengthen institutions.

The speakers expressed that they are proud to be with a leadership who has a clean past and even their worst detractors cannot lay any blame of corruption on them.
