Demi Moore was transported from her Los Angeles home to a hospital Monday night, a publicist says the 49-year-old actress is seeking professional help.
“Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health,” her rep said in a statement issued Tuesday. “She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”
Moore also pulled out of “Lovelace,” the biopic about porn star Linda Lovelace in which she was to play feminist Gloria Steinem.
Moore, who announced in November that she and actor Ashton Kutcher were separating after six years of marriage, was in Michigan in 2010 to film “LOL: Laughing Out Loud” with Miley Cyrus. There’s no announced release date yet for the movie, a remake of a 2008 French film.
