Pak-US dialogue to help improve energy crisis: Naveed Qamar


Federal Minister for Water and Power Syed Naveed Qamar Wednesday expressed optimism that the two-day 4th Pak-US energy dialogue would go a long way to enhance the US cooperation and bring much needed efficiency and capacity improvement in the energy sector.

Appreciating the role of United States (US) in addressing the energy shortage in Pakistan,  he thanked the US government for taking keen interest by sending a high level delegation to participate in a meaningful energy dialogue which was a manifestation of its strong resolve to support Pakistan in its trying moments of energy crises, said a press release

.He was addressing the inaugural session of 4th Pak-US Energy Dialogue here, which was co-chaired by US Special Envoy for International Energy Affairs Carlos Paseual, who is currently on a visit to Pakistan, as the head of a high-level delegation of US professional energy experts.
