Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani hold meetings with Sindh government on law and order situation in the city here on Monday.
Prime Minister, Yousuf Raza Gilani ordered that immediate action be taken against extremists in Karachi and security be provided to traders. A meeting was held at the Chief Minister House to discuss the law and order situation in Karachi.
Cheif minister, Syed Qain Ali Shah, Governer Sindh, Ishrat ul Ibad Khan and Minister of Interior, Rehman Malik also attended the meeting.
Law enforcement agencies, including the police and Rangers, also briefed him about measures they have taken to deal with the ongoing violence.
Earlier, Prime minister was to leave for Karachi on Sunday but his visit was postponed due to inclement weather.
