People pray for peace in Karachi on PM appeal

The faithful raised their hands in special prayers for peace and normalcy in the country, especially in Karachi.The prayer was offered in all city mosques on the appeal of Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani who had declared Jumatul Wida as ‘Youm e Dua’ asking clerics, religious scholars and people to offer special Dua for improvement in the situation in Karachi and also for progress of the country.Responding to the prime minister’s appeal, Khateebs during special Dua prayed for an end to terrorism and peace in Karachi.
They also prayed for the solidarity, security, integrity and prosperity of Pakistan and an end to food, water and power crises and for early recovery of ailing people.
