Imran suggests one captain for Test, limited over game

Former Captain, Imran Khan on Wednesday said there should be a one captain for both Test and limited over game and Shahid Afridi is best choice for this purpose.

He said Pakistan’s cricket team had showed a good performance in the World Cup (WC)-2011 but it could not sustained pressure of the semi-final game.

“If our team bears the pressure it could have won the crucial match. I appreciate the team that it performed beyond our expectations,” he said.

Commenting on the performance of Umpire Aleem Dar, Imran said it is a pride for the nation that Aleem Dar did umpiring in the final match of the World Cup.

Aleem Dar has been crowned in Lahore for his remarkable performance in the WC.

Khan said Muhammad Amir, a banned player in spot fixing case is the most talented bowler in the present cricket and “I have never seen such a talented young bowler like him in my life.”

He said Umar Akmal; another young talented batsman needs more training to prove his worth in Test cricket.
