PPP to play opposition’s role in Punjab: Khurshid Shah


Federal Minister for Labour and Manpower Syed Khurshid Shah has said that Pakistan Peoples Party would play opposition’s role in Punjab but reconciliation policy would continue.He was talking to media after the inauguration of the office of Director General, Employees Old Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) here on Friday.He said that PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif was trying to change the coalition set-up by the help of “lotas” (turncoats). He applead to him to stop the ‘lotacracy.’To a question, he said that PPP would not derail the present democratic system because PPP believes in the politics of reconciliation.
To another question, he said that Nawaz Sharif was responsible of violating the Charter of Democracy (COD) by removing the PPP ministers from Punjab Cabinet.
Earlier, the Federal Minister inaugurated the office of DG EOBI and said that PPP was the ‘workers loving government’ and would continue struggle for the rights of the workers.
