Chief of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said the 10-point agenda given by his party to the government aimed at improving national economy and governance.
He was addressing a high level party meeting held here to review the progress on the ongoing dialogue between the parliamentary committees of PML-N and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
He maintained that the implementation on the agenda would help in putting the national economy on right track and eradicating corruption from the society besides creating more job opportunities.
He said it was not his personal or a party-specific agenda rather it was meant to correct wrongdoings and ensure good governance.
The meeting was apprised on pace of the dialogue in the meetings held so far with the ruling party over the national reforms agenda.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the pace of implementation on the agenda, Nawaz Sharif said two-third period of the given 45 days had passed and it seemed that the government was unable to change its style.
He said PML-N made serious efforts by putting in all its energies, time and capabilities on giving this agenda for the national cause.
He directed the PML-N side for convincing the government team in the upcoming meeting to implement the agenda in an effective manner.
