No more time for 10-point agenda: Nawaz

PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif said on Friday that 10-point agenda was given keeping in view of national interest; however, no more time would be given for its implementation.

He was addressing the party meeting of PML-N parliamentarians and party workers from Sargodha, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot divisions held in connection with party organisation here at Model Town.

“We have always preferred national interest and talked about Pakistan,” he said.

“We have to talk about Pakistan, irrespective of individual and political interests as Pakistan was passing through a difficult time,” he added.

He urged the government to make rational approach to steer the country out of crises.

The party workers faced many challenges and upheld the flag of democracy high during the dictatorship of Pervez Musharraf, which was a precedent. He said such workers who played their role would be awarded status in the organisation of party.

Those people who went along with dictator after quitting party in difficult time would not be accepted in the party at any cost, he said.

He stressed the need for eradicating corruption and plundering for making the country strong and resolving the problems of masses.

Nawaz Sharif also urged the government to take practical steps for the resolution of masses’ problems and eradication of corruption from the country.

About Raymond Davis, he said the supremacy of law would be upheld on this tragic incident and the PML-N stance is clear on it.
