Senior Vice President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mukhdoom Javed Hashmi Thursday said it was unfortunate that individuals were getting strong and institutions weakened in the country.
Addressing the High Court Bar Association, he stressed the need for strengthening institutions through consistent leadership and enhancing governance.
He criticised politicians, alleging that they remained involve in massive corruption, having no concern with people’s day today issues.
“Nobody is taking care of common man’s problems”, he lamented, adding poverty, terrorism, worst law and order situation and unemployment have left people into state of misery,” claimed Hashmi.
He underlined the need for sincere leadership in the country, which should work just for the cause of masses and think beyond their personal issues and circumstances.
