Altaf appeals people to attend his party’s Lahore gathering

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has appealed to the people of Punjab to fully participate in the public gathering of his party which will be organised on April 10, in Lahore.

He was addressing via telephone from London the members MQM Lahore Zonal Committee and district bodies at Lahore Zonal Office, said a statement issued by his party here on Sunday.

Altaf appealed to the labourers, growers, students, writers, intellectuals, and people of different walks of life to ensure their full participation in the public gathering of his party on April 10.

He said that the MQM is the only political entity which is ray of hope to save the country and it is practically struggling to achieve this objective.

Altaf maintained that d those feudal lords, who claimed to be patriots were the biggest opponents of Pakistan Movement.

He said the country needs honest, devoted and educated people of poor-middle-class, who, he said can resolve basic problems of the people and can eradicate corruption from the country.

Altaf Hussain called upon his party workers to work honestly for serving the masses.

The MQM Chief also advised the workers and leaders of his party to stay calm and keep spreading the message and ideology of their party.

Deputy Convener MQM Rabita Committee, Dr. Farooq Sattar, members Rabita Committee, Muhammad Raza Haroon, Waseem Aftab, Iftikhar Akber Randhawa, Saif Yar Khan, Incharge MQM Lahore Zone, Shaheed Anwer Gilani, Joint Incharge, Mubin Qazi and members of the MQM Women Wing were also present on the occasion.
