Five including DSP killed in Peshawar blast


At least five including Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rasheed khan killed and several people have been injured in a powerful suicide bomb blast on a police car in Peshawar on Monday.

According to details, the blast occurred in Garhi Qamar Din area at Kohat Road. Police said that DSP Rasheed Khan’s vehicle was targeted by the suicide attacker when he was patrolling in the area.

Five people including DSP Rasheed Khan died in an attack while several people injured including his guard.

Police cordoned off the area immediately after the blast. The injured have been shifted to hospital. Senior Minister of Khyber PakhtoonKhawa, Bashir Bilour said that six people including DSP and his driver killed in the blast.

Police found a head of suicide bomber from the site. Police said that the suicide attacker was 17 years of age. AIG Malik Shafqat said mediamen that all the evidences have collected from the site. Seven kilogram explosives used in the blast.
