Sindh Govt sacks 12 advisors


The Sindh Government on Monday sacked 12 advisors of Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah.

The sacked advisors, including Sharmila Farooqui, were sacked under the 18th constitutional amendment.

According to the notification issued on Monday, Sharmila Farooqui, Jamil Soomro, Imtiaz Sheikh, Mufti Ferozudin Hazarvi, Babar Laghari, Siddique Abubhai, Sardar Amir Bhutto, Waqas Malik, Jahangir Khanji, Dinsha, Kamran Dehan and Ghulam Qadir were stripped of their position as advisors.

It is pertinent to mention here that 18th amendment allows the Chief Minister to appoint not more than 5 advisors.
