Second blast hits Peshawar police, 1 dead


The Peshawar Police on Monday came under second terrorist attack in hours as a roadside bomb hit police vehicle in provincial capital, killing a personnel and injuring three others.

Initial reports suggest that a roadside bomb was detonated from remote location when a police vehicle approached the site in Pushta Khirra area.

The affected road has been blocked temporarily for traffic and the injured were shifted to the nearby hospital.

Earlier, five people including Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rasheed khan killed in a powerful suicide bomb attack on a police car at Kohat Road in Peshawar.
