Sajjad gets wild card entry for Sangsom snooker

The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) has received an invitation for Muhammad Sajjad from the Billiard Sports Association of Thailand to participate in Thailand Professional Ranking Circuit, the Sangsom Lop Buri Cup-2011.

The event will be held from January 23-28 in Lop Buri, Thailand, says a press release issued here.

Muhammad Sajjad has been given a wild card entry along with other wild card entrants one of which is James Wattana of Thailand with 16 Thai qualifiers.

The winner of the event will be awarded with a cash prize of 100,000 baht while the runner-up will get 50,000/- baht. The losing semi-finalists will get 30,000/- baht each and the losing quarter-finalists will get 20,000/-baht each.

However the losers in the last 16 rounds, losers in wild card round and highest break will be awarded with 15,000/- baht each.

All invited wildcards stand to earn a minimum of 30,000 baht.
