Richardson praises Pakistan’s contribution in Cricket

Dave Richardson, ICC General Manager Cricket Operations has lauded the contribution of Pakistan in the world cricket.

“PCB has come up with an initiative on cricketing issues, the neutral umpires idea was given by Pakistan. Another example the use of technology and the proposal was given by Pakistan. “Pakistan is very, much even in today’s time, is very much part of international cricket and have played very big role in the initiatives which are introduced at the international level,” he told a news conference at National Stadium here on Friday.

“The purpose of my visit as part of Pakistan Task Team, set-up by ICC, to try and assist Pakistan cricket in these times when it is unable to play its cricket in Pakistan and to assist them through this period,” he said.

“In a way that situation in Pakistan they are unable to play their cricket at home is not ideal. But it does create an opportunity to focus on domestic cricket and make sure that standard is very high”. “Its so much better and I had the experience of discussing with great like Javed Miandad and other PCB officials,” he concluded.
