Imran criticises decision to raise prices

Chief of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI), Imran Khan on Sunday criticised the decision to raise prices of petroleum products and claimed that it has made the life of common man more difficult.  He asked the government to reduce the prices of petroleum products.

Addressing a protest demonstration at Banni Chowk organized by his party, he said that purchasing power of the people has considerably reduced after continuous rise in inflation.

He also criticised the Reformed General Sales Tax (RGST), gas and electricity load-shedding, unemployment and US drone attacks in tribal belt.

The participants of the rally were carrying party flags, banners and placards and chanting slogans.

Imran Khan said that the rich people were not paying taxes, which had put burden on poorer segments of the society in shape of price hike.

Criticizing Mian Nawaz Sharif, Imran said that N-League was playing role of friendly opposition.

He said that the government should impose tax on rich and politicians instead of poor people.

He said  American drones were killing innocent people in tribal areas.

Imran Khan said that those politicians, whose assets were in foreign banks, should not be allowed to participate in politics until they bring back all their money back to their country.
