Amin Fahim lauds 22% increase in exports

Federal Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim on Sunday congratulated business community, exporters and chambers for 22 per cent increase in the country’ exports.

Makdoom Amin Fahim, in a statement issued here, lauded the efforts of all stakeholders for this landmark achievement.

The minister expressed his satisfaction over the increase in export in last December up to 22 per cent. As per statistics, Pakistan’s exports enhanced 22 percent in December 2010, which is a record in last many years.

Amin Fahim said that he would personally write letters of appreciation to all the chambers and associations on this achievement.

The minister said it was possible because of achieving market access through negotiations and policies of the government.

Makhdoom  Amin Fahim hoped that the same efforts would continue in future to achieve export targets.
