PML-Q has merged with PML (Functional)

The Pakistan Muslim League (Q) has merged with Pakistan Muslim League (Functional), Pir Sahib Pagara announced here on Saturday at his residence.

“It is not unification but assimilation of Muslim League,” Pir Sahib said while talking to media at the conclusion of the meeting between him and PML-Q President Chaudury Shujaat Hussain and Secretary General Syed Mushahid Hussain.

The meeting was held at the residence of Pir Saheb Pagara here on Saturday.

Pir Pagara said the differences of opinion on varies issues had been resolved between the two factions of Muslim League.

He said that all factions of Muslim League had been invited to get united on one platform to materialise formation of All Pakistan Muslim League.

Replying to a question, Pir Pagara said that doors for “a greater alliance are open to all parties and invitation is not confined only to Muslim Leaguers”. “We are even willing to invite Imran Khan to join us”.

Earlier talking to newsmen, PML-Q President Chaudury Shujaat observed that he saw that one or a unified leadership could help bring out the country from the ‘present crisis’.

He said that they wanted a leadership which was acceptable to all “and in that context there is no better choice than Pir Sahib Pagara”.
