Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and senator Pervaiz Rasheed said that the party will welcome Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) if they rejoin the party, however adding that the return of Chaudhry Shujat is conditional.
While exclusively talking to Aaj News, spokesman of Punjab government Pervaiz Rasheed said the doors are open for PML-Q to rejoin the party, however Chaudhry Shujat will be summoned before central executive committee.
Shujat would be quizzed about the break up of the party, supporting dictatorship and spoiling the constitution among various other issues, he added.
Pervaiz Rasheed said that party will accept Shujat if he promised not to repeat the same mistakes which he committed in the past.
He said PML-Q claimed that his party is in opposition but they have become a part of the government after joining Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F).
Replying a question, Pervaiz Rasheed said that PML-N will not submit non-confidence motion against the government.
