Colors, the leading entertainment Indian channel, launches its brand new show, KHATRON KE KHILADI and along with it, a major promotional campaign of another show, BIG BOSS, will also take off. Yes, you read it right: The first promo of BIG BOSS, hosted by Salman Khan, will be launched tonite. Okay, why am I discussing KHATRON KE KHILADI and BIG BOSS? Let me explain.
Colors have decided to launch eight new promos of BIG BOSS and all of them [yes, all eight] have been directed by Milan Luthria, the director of the recent hit ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI. Confirms Milan, “Yes, we had so much fun making the promos. The interesting part is, Salman will be sporting a new look in every promo. Also, each promo has been shot on a different set.” Milan hasn’t worked with Salman before, so how was it working with him for this ad campaign? “Great! We hit it off instantly. It was fun,” he adds.
Who recommended Milan Luthria for this ad campaign? “I was his [Salman] preference, but my name was recommended by Sunil Manchanda [SALAAM-E-ISHQ, CHEENI KUM] for this hi-profile campaign,” Milan reveals. Has Salman watched ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI? “Not yet, but he has asked me to keep a screening for him. He has been travelling for DABANGG promotions, hence was hard-pressed for time. However, his family, including his father, have watched the film and loved it immensely,” Milan says.
