No threat to democracy, govt: Badar

Secretary General Pakistan People’s Party Jahangir Badar has said that there is no threat to democracy and the government will complete its five-year tenure.

Talking to a delegation of labourers headed by Malik Ehtesham ul Hassan, President People’s Labour Bureau Lahore, at his residence here on Monday, Badar called his acquittal from accountability court “victory” of justice and truth.

He said that PPP always played its role to resolve the crises faced by the country and lead the people towards prosperity.

He said the party workers had faced the challenges of imprisonment for the betterment of the masses and added that this was the reason that PPP has become a symbol of unity among all the provinces.

Jahangir Badar said that dictatorship always pushed the country into several crises and the people must support democratic government.
