Sindh Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Mirza has directed that security of the flood affectees and the relief workers be ensured.
In a statement here on Thursday, he also asked the Home Department and the police to extend full cooperation towards the flood relief and rehabilitation work.
It said that the Dr. Mirza issued the directives in the light of a report prepared by the Consultant Home Department, Sharfuddin Memon.
The report shed light on the relief work at the camps set up for the flood affectees as well as the provision of the relief goods to the affectees.
The Minister was also informed that the provision of medical facilities is also being ensured at the relief camps.
A team consisting of specialist doctors is also providing service voluntarily at the relief camps, it was further pointed out.
