Aabidi asks Jatoi to apologize for remarks against CJ

Political Advisor to President, Faisal Raza Aabidi said on Saturday said that Minister for Defence Production Abdul Qayyum Khan Jatoi should apologize for his ‘senseless’ remarks against the Chief Justice of Pakistan.

Talking to a private television channel the Advisor said, that Judiciary, Executive and the Parliament are the institutions of state and no one should utter silly things about these institutions.

He said the present military leadership cannot be compared with Musharraf and associates because presently the armed forces are rendering unprecedented sacrifices in the interest of nation and helping the suffering humanity in flood affected areas.

Aabidi said that some people were using insulting words against the President which is also an uncivilized practice.

The office of President is a symbol of unity in the country and when criticizing the office the individuals should keep its prestige and respect in view, he said.

He said the experts who are expressing their anger over the statement of Jatoi should also ask the critics of President to adopt civilized approach.
