Serena and Venus Williams completed their Wimbledon domination on Saturday by clinching the women’s doubles title with a 6-2, 6-2 win over America’s Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur of Australia.
It was the sisters’ third Wimbledon doubles title to add to their 2000 and 2002 victories and seventh Grand Slam trophy as a team.
The win, in only 59 minutes, came just hours after Venus had defeated her sister 7-5, 6-4 to clinch her fifth All England Club singles title.
